v1.0.7: Freezing the World
New Mechanic: Freeze
A frozen unit skips its next combat phase.
From now on, 'summoning sickness' is not a thing. Units enter the battlefield frozen.
'Skipping combat phases' is no longer a thing. Cards that used to do that now freeze enemy creatures. Now, newly-played units with haste can still attack.
Sonic Boom has been removed and replaced with a line of ranked blizzard spells in Chronomancer. They cost 3/4/5/6/7, and do 2/4/6/8/3+ damage.

Historically, Mediate and Stone Rain were banned together because one could meditate, while the opponent would have nothing good to do.
Now, having an aether card that gains value while not over-committing the board has become the rule rather than the exception. As such, this ban has been lifted.
In addition, W5 is getting replaced.

Finally, I was wondering for a while why E12's winrate was so low, despite it often running away with games.
After seeing it get tornado'd yet again, it finally clicked. (While Dragon is similarly vulnerable, holding up fire has plenty of other uses. Holding up earth is in comparison less useful.)
In the name of reducing polarization:
Hydra now has Haste. It no longer regenerates 3hp each turn. Its base health has been increased from 24 to 30.
Aether Cards Update
In an attempt to streamline the engine, the distinction between combat damage and non-combat damage is being removed. As a result, Steel Golem (5) is being removed.
The mana production rituals in the previous update were too strong with elementals. To reduce polarization, they have been capped at 2 charges.
