v0.8.3 patch notes


This will be the last release for a while. I've been working 12-16 hours every day to get Aethermancer off the ground, and I don't feel like doing that anymore. Besides, I think the game is now in a pretty good state right now, with probably hundreds of hours of replayability.

  • Warpriest renamed Paladin.
  • Classes of cards show on hover.
  • Some of the basic cards now are level 0 class cards. This helps people get an idea of what all the classes are about.
  • AI no longer considers playing non-targeting spells on lanes other than the first. This optimization makes the AI run 3x faster!
  • Turn time decreased. 80+40 -> 60+30
  • X-bow buffed. 6/37 -> 7/35. It's start of turn ability has been changed accordingly.
  • Many of the 0 cards have had their class requirements lowered.
  • New cards:
Skeleton Army (3)
! Summon 9 1/5s that can't be targeted.
Target enemy takes damage for each that doesn't fit.
Trig (12)
Opponent cannot have more than 9 of any single element or more than 0 aether.
