v0.9.4: The Flood
Welcome to v0.9.4. This update is called the flood, because a lot of things are getting flooded.
Statistics
First of all, I've been flooded with statistics. I've instructed Visionary AI to play 500 games for me on the live server to evaluate the balance of the base cards. Here's what it came back to me with:

Nothing really statistically significant here. On the surface level, it looks like Natural Fury is overpowered.
However, keep in mind all of these games were played with Wild Magic, in which Natural Fury is by far the best burn spell. In fact, in my own stats, Natural Fury is the worst-performing burn spell, and I'm quite a good player (who has not been playing much Wild Magic lately.)
When balancing, I take in account a variety of factors. As such, one base card will be getting a balance change this update. That card is E5. E5 has been performing at -2 sigma on the bot's stats. It's also been performing at -2 sigma on my own stats. Furthermore, I feel like it's the weakest out of the 3 basic mana generators, and furthermore, playtester feedback also says its the weakest. That said, I'm not comfortable with buffing it by one health. By buffing it by one health, it survives a number of common combinations to kill it, including 3+3+3, 3+6(F6), 2+7(W3+F9), 4+1+4(W2+E4). Thus, I'm opting for the smaller buff of giving it haste. At base value, this is just 1 player damage. This may seem like a small buff, and it is, but I think the card just needs a small boost, and every player life does matter in this game. In addition, this opens up some cheeky midgame assassinations, which I think will be a lot of fun.
New Units
The second part of the flood is the new units. About 30 vanilla and french vanilla units have been added, in an attempt to find out where the vanilla curve is. I expect these units will not be popular, which is fine. I, for one, will be using them. I think even with vanilla units, there's a fair amount of skill in when and where to deploy them, and I don't mind playing with simple cards. There's been a few minor changes for units to make them fit into the curve.
In addition, two new units in Control have been added, at 3 and 4. These are meant as alternatives to Weakness (2). Due to their higher cost, they cannot be chained as long as weakness, but they come with a body, which might make up for it.
New Bot Decks
The third part of the flood is new bot decks. Millions of possible decks are possible in Aethermancer, and yet up to this point the bots have been wielding only five. No more. Now, every single possible deck is now playable by the bot. Wishful will take over the multi-class decks, while Easy will take over the mono-class decks. Both of these bots have their piloting improved to Challenging's level. Challenging, Tricky, and Visionary will continue using their current preset decks.
