What's on my mind right now


I'm currently not working on the next patch. There's a few things on my mind I want to think through before making it.

First of all, the idea was that every 1.6.x patch introduces a creature keyword. The keyword I had planned for 1.6.3 has some balance issues, particularly when granted to E4.

I also have some doubts about the indestructible keyword. Indestructible itself is clearly a neutral keyword, but granting Indestructible to creatures is a severe punish to leaving them at low life. I suspect this infringes into Restorer color pie.

I'm also considering some base set cards, specifically F1 and A12. A12 is probably changing next patch, F1 I'm more hesitant about.

The introduction of AI in v1.6.2se has led to inquiries about AI copilot. It'll probably be available next patch, but I'm wondering if it makes it too easy to get high ratings.

When playing against Ritual of Glory, I couldn't help but think "gee, that's not a very long clock". It's balanced as is right now, but I'm thinking of adding a "Ritual of Fibonacci" for a slower scaling option.

I've been testing some decks on the dev server which combines a few keywords. There's a few combinations that feel potentially overpowered, but I'm not convinced they're broken yet, just judging by my winrate vs Visionary.
