Barriers Considered Harmful

Barriers are being removed. In addition, the Vanilla units are overperforming a bit in the stats, particularly Knight.

As such, the vanilla curve is being revised to:

0 mana: 1/13

1 mana: 2/15

2 mana: 3/17

3 mana: 4/19

etc.


Chess Battles

I'm not very happy with the current implementation of Chess, even if the balance is doing fine.

As such, a few changes are being made to the chess kit.

Queen: hp 14 -> 15, class Neutral -> Evoker

Forbidden Rook ([44], (X) -> X/12+2X haste, neutral) removed.

New cards:

Rook (Evoker 5)
Haste.

@ lane. Destroy ally for +1 Aether and play a promotion if able.
Promotion must be in your deck. Priority: Queen > Rook > Bishop > Knight

Ice Battles

To open up design space, there's a new rule: A player cannot be frozen for two turns in a row.

(When a player unfreezes, they become 'hot' for a turn and immune to freeze during that time.)

Creatures can still be frozen for multiple consecutive turns.

Fractured time has been reworked.

Balance

We have 3000 games of stats, and the balance is looking pretty good.

Some Aether cards are getting some balance adjustments this patch.

Falling Water, Rank 3: power 5+ -> 6+

Inferno Tower: hp 44 -> 45
